I am a board-certified pediatrician specializing in children's environmental health. I am currently studying the effects of chemical pollutants on the developing brain at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. I have practiced in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City and Okinawa, Japan.
My global health experience consists of a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from The Gorgas Memorial Institute of Tropical Medicine (Lima, Peru) and work with several non-governmental humanitarian relief organizations including Doctors without Borders (Uganda and Nigeria), The Mount Sinai Global Health Center (Liberia) and Project Medishare (Haiti)
