I believe in supporting the growth and development of each child as a unique individual. I completed my training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and went on to work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, as well as an Attending Physician at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore.

Yes. The Autism Diagnostic Observation Survey, 2nd edition (ADOS-2), is a standardized, semi-structured assessment designed to evaluate social communication and play skills. Dr. Miodovnik completes the ADOS in about an hour with parents in the room.

Yes. Dr. Miodovnik provides a comprehensive diagnostic medical report within 1–2 weeks of the evaluation, allowing families to begin appropriate interventions without delay.

Dr. Miodovnik prescribes evidence-based medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan following a shared decision-making process with families. He is also open to discussing safe complementary treatment options.

By maintaining a small practice panel, Dr. Miodovnik is able to offer significantly shorter wait times (typically under 6 weeks), extended appointment lengths, and direct access via phone, text, or email. Families also benefit from telehealth follow-ups for timely check-ins and monitoring of new treatments or medications.

Dr. Miodovnik does not take insurance. By remaining out-of-network, he is able to provide thoughtful, individualized care with more time devoted to each family. This model avoids the restrictions of insurance-based practices and supports a more personal, responsive approach to your child’s needs.
